Emily grew up in Portland, OR and received her BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies at the University of San Francisco. She worked as an interior designer after college and at an architecture firm once she moved to Columbus with her husband. Although she enjoyed design work, her passion has always been about giving back. After her second child was born in 2014, Emily began volunteering as the Food Drive Coordinator for Family Mentor Foundation. Her passion for the organization and mission has only grown since then and the lessons of charity and compassion for those in need is a value she enjoys sharing with her children first hand at FMF. Emily lives in Worthington with her husband and 2 children.
Susie worked in hotel sales & catering for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home-mom. she was an active volunteer at her children’s school and worked part time for Hallmark Marketing. After seeing a TV spot on Good Day Columbus, she and her daughter started volunteering with Family Mentor Foundation where she served on several committees before joining the staff.
Susie graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Journalism. She lives in Powell with her husband and has two adult children.
Meegan has a background in residential real estate, management, customer service, and sales. She is seasoned in relationship building and business development. Her passion for helping others began early on in her career where she worked in the fitness industry with the desire to help others with their journey to health and wellness. She managed Victory Fitness Centers in Columbus for many years before making a transition into real estate in 2002 to join her family’s business. She holds a Real Estate Salesperson license in the state of Ohio. In 2002- 2019, she sold residential real estate helping both buyers and sellers to achieve their homeownership goals and dreams. During those years she worked for the brokerages, Coldwell Banker King Thompson and HER Realtors. In 2016 she was elected the President of the Greater Worthington Real Estate Association.
Meegan has always enjoyed volunteering and loves helping others in need. In 2015 she became actively involved with Family Mentor Foundation, when she learned about the food insecurity that existed for so many children in our community. She really wanted to find a way to help these children, and was introduced to Family Mentor Foundation’s founder and began volunteering. That same year she was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for Family Mentor Foundation and in 2017 she was elected the Chair. Her passion for the organization and its mission led to her accepting the role of Executive Director in 2019.
Meegan is a lifelong resident of Worthington, Ohio where she lives with her husband and two children. She graduated from Worthington High School (now Thomas Worthington), and went on to further her education attending Columbus State Community College, The Ohio State University and Hondros College.
